Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara Review

It feels like i haven't done a review in a VERY long time , so that being said i bring you a review , i know i know I'm amazing lol . In all seriousness what is amazing is this mascara . so let just jump right into it .

Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara , let me start by telling you i love mascaras i try ever  and all i can get my hands on and am always on the look out for my Holy Grail . The one to take over all others and i have to say i think i found it . This mascara promises plush, separated, voluminous lashes that will make you the envy of every girl and the guys drop to there knee's with one wink . Of course it comes at a price and for mascara its a freaking steep one $30.00 . When we shell out this kind of money for a product that by rule of thumb your tossing ever 3-4 months it hurts . So why are we even talking about this , well first impressions  i absolutely am in love with it . The packaging is a heavy metal casing , The weight of the metal really makes it feel like a weapon.  Very kickass!   The wand which is a very important i think, is superb.  One side of the brush has shorter widely gaped bristles, that are for creating volume at the base of your lashes.  On the opposed side the bristles are longer and very tightly condensed for separation and length.

The product it self as one of the best i have come across in a really long time. It delivers the plush, separated, voluminous lashes it claims to give you with out any goopy mess . It is able to do this by individually coating each lash from base to tip evenly. Another plus side is fact that i dont have to build it up or use lash primer to get results , you see the differnce with the first application . Giving you that fanned-out lash we ALL love and strive for with out the hassle of falsies . Ok that all sounds amazing but what about curl??  It holds curl all day . I experienced no flaking no smudging and i got lots of complements on my lashes .

All in all i have to give this mascara a 9 because of the price but i think more so the fact that it is not as accsesable as i would like it to be . Please dont let that discurage you from trying  it because it truly is an amazing product and i really dont think you'll be disapointed .

thanks for reading and be sure to let me know your thought on this and any other product i have reviewed or you would like to review .

Review : Lush Dirty

( Note from the Editor: This is our very first guest blogger , my wonderful husband Peter . I wanted to get the best point of view on this and it being a men's line he got the job . Enjoy .)

I was recently recruited by my wife to be the guinea pig for LUSHs’ new “Dirty” line for men. We picked up a sampler pack that came with everything for $20 so I could see what I like. We were told that each item in the package contains one part of the overall “scent” that the others don’t have so that you don’t smell like a teenager who’s doused himself in AXE body spray before a hot date. (I’ve done it, so I know that musk.) I was hesitant about most of it, other than the body wash but was pleasantly surprised that not only did I like most of it, but that I’ll probably continue to use it. The body wash itself is like any other gel soap you can get really. It’s nothing outstanding and does what it’s supposed to do but it also doubles as a shampoo, and for my dry scalp it does wonders. Any generic or “brand name” soap/shampoo always dries out my skin and makes me itch like a dog with fleas.

The shaving cream threw me off a bit as when I applied it on in the shower, I could barely tell that it was there. It worked as good as any other “sensitive skin” gel or foam I’ve ever used but it left a residue on my blade that was a pain to scrub off. I actually had to use my nails to scrape it off to keep my hair from sticking to it. It did however, leave me cutless and without any need for a post shave moisturizer. Whether or not that’s worth the annoyance of having to hose down my blade afterwards remains to be seen. I keep my hair short so I really had no need for the styling gel, but decided to try it out on my mustache (which is actually longer than the hair on my head.) It holds well without being overly “sticky” like most product usually is. The cologne that comes with it was nice and not overly strong. I hate being able to “smell myself” whether it’s a good thing or bad thing. My only real big negative was the tooth tabs. You bite into these little tabs and when you add water they foam up. Aside from tasting like straight baking soda, they didn’t dissolve very fast so I was standing there looking like a tool for a few minutes just to get enough foam to brush with. Other than that, half the pieces didn’t dissolve and I wound up spitting them out anyway. I’ll stick to regular tooth paste, thanks Lush.
Overall, if you’re a guy or want your guy to smell nice and be clean then the Dirty products (other than the tooth tabs) are worth it. Not overpowering in the smell area, they keep you clean, and other than having to clean your razor well after usage there was no real issues with any of it. So check it out next time you swing by your local LUSH or order online.

Review: MAC's Face & Body Foundation

I have been using this foundation for a little over three weeks now and can say that i really love it . It is the one foundation that i have found that truly dose look invisible to the naked eye . I was very sceptical about this foundation due to the fact that it is so sheer . I have tinted moisturisers that have a heavier coverage on the initial application then this foundation , but that's one of the many beauties about it . If you just need to even out your skin tone or like a med. coverage foundation this will work for you . Also for all my bronzed lovers out there , get this foundation a shade or two darker and it will give you a wonderfully bronzed/tan natural look to your face .

Another great thing about this foundation is that it is water based so really it works well with all skin type .If you have dry to normal it will keep your skin hydrated and looking fresh . Now let say you have troublesome skin , I'm sure your using products that will help you control the oily spots the breakouts and the dry patches . Well this foundation will not work against any of that so if your T-zone is oily and your cheeks are dry and probably flaking at some points (i say this because i went threw it) it adds hydration where you need it with out over doing it where you don't .

MAC also clams that it is transfer resistant . I have combination skin and because of this i am a blotter . Some people have packs of gum everywhere i have packs of blotting sheets everywhere . When i do blot i notice quite a bit of my foundation transfers on to the sheet . Now we are not all the same so it may not happen with you this is just my case .

Now lets say thats not enough reasons to give it a try lets look at price . This foundation cost $32.50 for 120ml / 4.0 fl oz , now take nars sheer glow foundation $42.00 for 30ml 1.0 fl oz . MAC comes out to $8.13 per oz  at that price its wurth giving it a shot .
I hope you found this helpfull , whether your looking for a new summer foundation or to just try somthing new . I deffinatly recomend giving it a shot .

Review : Bath & Body Works Coconut Beach Hand Gel Sanitizer

Happy Friday!!

I wanted to do a review on this because as we know spring is in full effect and summer is right around the corner . I know plenty of people myself included that come this time of year want to surround themselves with any and all things that give us the seance of beach front sunbathing with a Mai Tai in hand . Even if we are at work surrounded by a mountain of papers. (me right now)

While wasting a little time in at the mall a few weeks ago i came across this item . I always go in to Bath and Body Works because i love all of there stuff candles , shower gels , lotions , sprays . I picked it up thinking it would be a great little gift to get a Friend of mine who loves coconut and or anything blue/teal . I popped the cap open and immediately thought VACATION!!!

The scent of coconut seamed to surround me almost instantly and it lingers well after you close it . One lady come up and ask me what it was. I didn't even try it out i just grabbed two and off i went . To me this is one of this things you have plenty of but this particular one you must have . Remember that Mai Tai well thats all you think off while smelling this . A little goes a long way so it will deffinatly last . The travel friendly size is also a plus .

In retrospect i wish i would have tryed it out . I find it to be extremely drying . My hands feel as if they have never come in contact with lotion or cream of any kind ever . Lucky for me i found my lotion to compliment the smell very well .

I don't see my self purchasing another one once I'm done with it because of this , but is you don't suffer from dry hands or it doesn't bother you then i defiantly say pick this up . It is a 2.5 fl oz for $4.00 but as we all know Bath & Body Works always has deals or coupons out so your sure to get it for a a steal .

Thank you so much for checking back in with us and i hope you found this helpfully .

Review : Lush 9 to 5 cleansing lotion

Review

On a whim a few weeks back i purchased this cleanser , the girl at the lush counter was super nice and told me that it worked great even on removing makeup.  Where i work there is always dust in the air and at the end of the day i need to feel like i have gotten not only my makeup but all other impurities off of my face . That being said in my opinion this cleanser does not do that.  It leave my skin feeling smooth not grease and the moister is long lasting , but i just don't feel like my face is completely clean.

The scent is mild floral with hints of almond  , almost like baby products . Personally i love it . I have to say what stands out the most is just how well it works at removing makeup . I wear primarily dark colors and always use primer paint pots or grease paint so its not always easy to remove . That is not a problem for this product . I just add some to a cotton swab and gently pat it on in moments it has broken down the makeup and i can just wipe it off .  It leaves a wonderful soothing sensation on your eyes that is great before bed.

In the end i would have to say that i would infact buy this item again . As a cream cleanser it would work best in my opinion for people is dry sensitive skin . As a makeup remover EVERYONE should try it .

Review : Revlons Grow Luscious mascara

Review

OK so as my first post i thought i would do a review on a product i have been using for about 3 months now. When i first heard about this product i wasn't running to get it . I have long eyelash's but there not as full as i would like them to be and am always looking for the best thickening mascara . Revlon claims that 96% saw instantly longer lusher lashes and the more you use this product the stronger your lashes will become . What happen to sell me on the product was the wand it self .
In my opinion Revlon has a great product on there hands . The formula is wonderful doesn't flake , smudge or weigh down your lashes and its very easy to remove. The wand is one of the best i think its large so you get full coverage yet easy to maneuver on the lower and inner corner lashes .

As far as them looking  fuller and lusher after application it wasn't anything really out of this world . There are other drug store brands that give you a fuller look. To me its a good day look or work look mascara . Now as for the long term effect i have had nothing but wonderful things to say . I can defiantly see a difference in the way my lashes look with nothing on them , they look naturally darker healthier and thicker. In the end i would say this is a great everyday mascara to use not only does it complement day looks but it is beneficial the long run . Now for evening looks , go with a different mascara or false lashes .

thank you so much for taking the time to read and i hope i could help you out if your on the fence about this product. Also if you haven't done so please subscribe and leave feedback thank you again and keep checking back for more tips tricks reviews and hauls .
