Mini Sigma Haul

So the moment i found out Sigma came out with a cleansing and polishing tool i had to get it . i own the Clarisonic Mia and i love it . It has done wonders for my face and i could not imagine life with out one now but as a beauty junkie i have to try things out so here it is

Keep and eye out for a full review and comparison to the Clarisonic .

I also picked up another new item that i had my eye on there shape and dry brush roll. I love Sigma brushes they are amazing quality for an unbelievable price . So when i heard they came out with a tool that shapes your brushes as they dry and also cutting the drying time down to 4 hours , i know i had to get it .
There will be a full review on this product as well so please be sure to check back in with us for that .

I want to thank everyone of you who take the time to read this blog . I am grateful for your support and if there are any products/items you would like to see reviewed please be sure to let me know and i will do my best to get it posted . Thanks again .

My Favorites for the month of May

I wanted to start off this favorites post with something that i have heard a lot about and did not get a chance to try till now . That would be :

Jack Black Black Tea lip balm

This product is intended for men hence the simple blue and black packaging . I am a lip product junkie. I have multiple storage containers full of different lip products and treatments, so please believe me when i tell you i am always on the search for the perfect lip balm and i am fairly certain this is it.

This product is extremely hydrating protects agents UVA/UVB damage and guard against windburn and extreme temperatures. It seems to create a shield over your lips locking in all the moister . Keeping in mind this product is geared towards men it appears matte on your lips and this is why to me its the holy grail of lip balms . I love matte lip sticks but unfortunately they dry out lips . Place a lip gloss on top no longer is the lipstick matte . I place little bit of this balm on my lips and then use my fave. matte lipstick and am able to keep my lips from drying out but still get to keep my wonderful matte lip look.

Staying on the lip products this month my go to lipstick had been

M.A.C Patisserie Lustre Lipstick

This has been my go to lipstick this month . It is the perfect nude color for me, with its slight pinkie hue it goes great with any look and dose not wash me out. It has no shimmer , also because its a Lustre's the coverage is sheer and glossy yet very build able.

Next is a newly discovered fragrance thanks to a great girl and a good friend Deb . She came to visit and was raving about this perfume , i had never herd of it before so we took a trip to Sephora and let me tell you i fell in love .

Viktor&Rolf  Flowerbomb
First time i smelled it i was taken back at how floral it was yet there was something about the base note i was drawn to i couldn't stop smelling my wrist . This is the kind of perfume that you want to wear even when no one else is around .You seem to have a secret love affair with  yourself . The bottle is another beautiful part of this perfume . keeping true to the name it is shaped like a grenade.  FlowerBomb is a blend of creamy florals resting on a warm base of patchouli and vanilla . This is hands down in my top 5 really probably  top three favorite perfumes.

Now for skin care i have rediscovered this item . It has helped to control my acne and balance out my skin .

Shea Moisture Organic Bar African Black Soap

This Soap is made from palm ash, tamarind extract, tar and plantain peel has been used in Africa for centuries to treat eczema, acne, oily skin, psoriasis, and other skin ailments. Combined with the healing and hydrating properties of Shea Butter, used daily it will balance and resolve problem skin. This little lovely can be picked up at your local target or online.

That's it for this month i hope everyone is having a great spring so far and i will see you soon.

My Favorites for the month of April

This is my first ever monthly favorites , I'm going to see how well this turns out on a blog i have only ever seen them done on vlogs but who's to say we cant try . :)

So this month has been a crazy one for me but i am glad to start doing monthly favorites so lets begin .

one thing i have been loving this month is

Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil

I got this in a Boscia kit from Sephora with my 500 Pt's . I have never tryed a cleansing oil before and didn't really know what to expect going into it. I read up on it a little bit on there website http://www.bosciaskincare.com/newsite/product_detail.php?cPath=0&products_id=106&category=&dept_id=41 , and i have to say i was very intrigued . After trying it out i can defiantly say that i am in love . All it take is a dime size amount and all of your makeup is broken down and you can rinse it off with warm water leaving no residue of any kind . Best of all it can be used by all skin type so it makes a great gift to any makeup junkie out there .

Next would have to be my MAC Face & Body foundation . I have combination skin and in the summer time i am always looking for something light weight but still covers .
This foundation is great because of the fact that it is water based . It give your skin a wonderful healthy glow and keeps it hydrated with out looking greasy . It is extremely easy to blend and you can build it up t a good med. coverage. Due to the fact that its water based you have to wait a bit between applications or before you set it with powder , other wise its a great foundation that last all day .

The next product i have been loving this month is Origins Zero Oil Instant matte finish for shiny places . This little bottle is my best friend this time of year. It is a light weight liquid that helps the oily spots on your face , cheeks , chin , nose , forehead . I apply it before my foundation primer but you can use it before or  after your foundation .
This milky white substance has no odder goes on clear and last all day . Also because i don't have to blot as much through out the day my makeup last a lot longer . I definitely recommend giving this a try if you suffer from oily skin like i do because this time of year is the worst for me and this really does improve the longevity of my makeup .

The lip product i have been loving this month is No7 Sheer Temptation lip stick in Smoulder.
This lip stick is like a stain and gloss in one, goes on sheer yet is very  build able and is long lasting .
Can be taken from day to night super easy and also is great for those who are not so sure about red lip stick . For the price i think this is a great buy and a must try for those who love lip color as well as those who are trying to find there comfort zone with lip stick .
I hope you find this help full and if there are any product you would like a full review on please let me know and ill get one posted as soon as i can . Be sure to let me know if you found this functional on a blog and if so i will be sure to have one ready for next month .

Review: MAC's Face & Body Foundation

I have been using this foundation for a little over three weeks now and can say that i really love it . It is the one foundation that i have found that truly dose look invisible to the naked eye . I was very sceptical about this foundation due to the fact that it is so sheer . I have tinted moisturisers that have a heavier coverage on the initial application then this foundation , but that's one of the many beauties about it . If you just need to even out your skin tone or like a med. coverage foundation this will work for you . Also for all my bronzed lovers out there , get this foundation a shade or two darker and it will give you a wonderfully bronzed/tan natural look to your face .

Another great thing about this foundation is that it is water based so really it works well with all skin type .If you have dry to normal it will keep your skin hydrated and looking fresh . Now let say you have troublesome skin , I'm sure your using products that will help you control the oily spots the breakouts and the dry patches . Well this foundation will not work against any of that so if your T-zone is oily and your cheeks are dry and probably flaking at some points (i say this because i went threw it) it adds hydration where you need it with out over doing it where you don't .

MAC also clams that it is transfer resistant . I have combination skin and because of this i am a blotter . Some people have packs of gum everywhere i have packs of blotting sheets everywhere . When i do blot i notice quite a bit of my foundation transfers on to the sheet . Now we are not all the same so it may not happen with you this is just my case .

Now lets say thats not enough reasons to give it a try lets look at price . This foundation cost $32.50 for 120ml / 4.0 fl oz , now take nars sheer glow foundation $42.00 for 30ml 1.0 fl oz . MAC comes out to $8.13 per oz  at that price its wurth giving it a shot .
I hope you found this helpfull , whether your looking for a new summer foundation or to just try somthing new . I deffinatly recomend giving it a shot .

Review : Bath & Body Works Coconut Beach Hand Gel Sanitizer

Happy Friday!!

I wanted to do a review on this because as we know spring is in full effect and summer is right around the corner . I know plenty of people myself included that come this time of year want to surround themselves with any and all things that give us the seance of beach front sunbathing with a Mai Tai in hand . Even if we are at work surrounded by a mountain of papers. (me right now)

While wasting a little time in at the mall a few weeks ago i came across this item . I always go in to Bath and Body Works because i love all of there stuff candles , shower gels , lotions , sprays . I picked it up thinking it would be a great little gift to get a Friend of mine who loves coconut and or anything blue/teal . I popped the cap open and immediately thought VACATION!!!

The scent of coconut seamed to surround me almost instantly and it lingers well after you close it . One lady come up and ask me what it was. I didn't even try it out i just grabbed two and off i went . To me this is one of this things you have plenty of but this particular one you must have . Remember that Mai Tai well thats all you think off while smelling this . A little goes a long way so it will deffinatly last . The travel friendly size is also a plus .

In retrospect i wish i would have tryed it out . I find it to be extremely drying . My hands feel as if they have never come in contact with lotion or cream of any kind ever . Lucky for me i found my lotion to compliment the smell very well .

I don't see my self purchasing another one once I'm done with it because of this , but is you don't suffer from dry hands or it doesn't bother you then i defiantly say pick this up . It is a 2.5 fl oz for $4.00 but as we all know Bath & Body Works always has deals or coupons out so your sure to get it for a a steal .

Thank you so much for checking back in with us and i hope you found this helpfully .
